Four girls. One city. Neon Girls follows a group of mostly queer, mostly Latino high school seniors following a night of gang violence that turns the city upside down. Newbie skater Ren Harumi follows a rumor leading her to Rin Akito. A skater who supposedly quit "Sk8". An illegal utopia for skaters. Ren begs Rin to teach her how to skate day after day.
