by Camody	Camody's Pokemon Fire Red Apocalocke Based on an Apocalocke run I did of Pokemon Fire Red in 2017. The rules are simple: 1. Can only catch the first Pokemon on each route. 2. If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. 3. Every Pokemon must be nicknamed. And because it's an Apocalocke, the scenario I got was a drought so that limits the Pokemon I could catch to Normal, Fire, Electric, Rock and Ground types. Gift Pokemon are still okay though! This has been in the works for a few years now, off and on, but I have finally set up a rhythm and flow to creating the comic. So, what to expect? Well, this is a Nuzlocke, but it's a little different too. Essentially, what I did was that I played three runs of FireRed and LeafGreen on an emulator and did a...Trilocke? There are three main characters, each representative of a Nuzlocke run on the emulator, although the comic only closely follows one of them. It is an AU of the first generation storyline, which means, without giving too much away, that the comic will follow the storyline of the games...almost. I know that Nuzlocke's are everywhere these days, and everyone who knows anything about Pokemon knows the first generation storyline to some degree, so I thought it would be fun to alter a few things to (hopefully) keep things surprising and fresh. The comic will mostly be a drama, although there will be many (failed) attempts at comedy. It is essentially my love letter to a 20 year old franchise that has been a way of life for me since I discovered and fell in love with it in 1996.
