Last week, I was hospitalized and underwent heart surgery. I now have a pacemaker at the age of thirty. Everything happened so fast, and it's a lot to process, so I thought I'd draw it all out with the help of BBC's Sherlock, which I do not own. Merely borrowing for therapeutic purposes. So get ready for my story, Johnlock style! Prepare for fluff and humor and minor medical drama. And friends to lovers. While Sherlock’s experience will reflect my experience, his thoughts and feelings do not reflect my thoughts and feelings necessarily. All characters are based on real life people, but their names have been changed. I am not a medical professional so errors are likely, as are Americanisms. I am getting better every day. My recovery is going well.

Whatever Remains follows Holmes and Watson on a number of cases in 1920's London. Action, adventure, and romance ensue as Sherlock and John face the obstacles that lie before them together. Welcome to my newest (or not so newest: https://tapas.io/episode/460013) comic, Whatever Remains. WR is a Sherlock Holmes pastiche based in 1920s London a la the Noir genre. There will be action, adventure, and (mature) romance aplenty. If you like tags such a slowburn, UST, and Friends to Lovers, this will be right up your alley! I started WR a year or so ago, lost seventy plus pages after pacemaker surgery, and restarted from the beginning. If you'd like to see what WR was before, please feel free to follow the link! WRs premise, aside from rehashing the original stories by Conan Doyle, revolves around characters who are typically marginalized in media without drawing undue attention to what’s marginalizing them. Rather, WR isn’t about a transgender Sherlock Holmes, it’s about Sherlock Holmes who happens to be trans in this universe. Updates will be every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and (soon) Thursday.
