Lance is a poor 16-year-old boy about to embark on a massive adventure across the world's seven kingdoms in pursuit of his father, who has been missing for five years. Lance, because he is poor, cannot afford to pay the fee to travel from the entryways between the kingdoms, so he must travel through the wilderness, a dead man's zone ruled by fearsome bandits, murderers, and mercenaries. On his journey, he will make new friends, fight villains, and protect the weak when no one else will!
