When Jay Fitch's friend is murdered, he abandons his failed "acting" career to catch the culprit and redeem his reputation. Along the way he is joined by the spirit of his dead friend and a sentient desk lamp to aid him in his search. Will this odd trio find the perpetrator or will Jay's own ego be their downfall?
