FX es el nombre de una organización de "exploradores" en el continente de Milestone. Con su fundación hace más de un milenio, se dedica a enseñar y entrenar la exploración. Mientras la sede del emperador se encuentra en el centro del continente, hay 4 países con sus propias sub-sedes, lideradas por un presidente. Hay tanto exploradores como escuelas que se especializan en diferentes tipos de exploración. Nuestro protagonista, Gontaro Ghetaware, es un jóven de 19 años que lleva consigo un "casco plateado" imposible de sacar. No está atascado ni sellado con alguna clase de magia. Su objetivo es encontrar pistas acerca de su casco junto con sus compañeros Tron Enerson y Guri Natura, de la misma edad que Gontaro. Tron Enerson es un jóven que tiene la apariencia de un samurai, pero no es uno de verdad. Tiene una capa sellada a la fuerza, penetrando 1 tuerca gruesa en cada lado de los hombros. Tiene un sueño del cuál no quiere revelar. Guri Natura es una elementalista que controla 4 elementos: Fuego, Hielo, Tierra y Aire. Sin embargo, tiene sus condiciones: Para crear fuego o hielo necesita usar de su temperatura corporal, para la tierra necesita de su resistencia física y para aire necesita usar oxígeno.
