There are ups and downs but he is really trying his best. Lately he has been isolating himself more and more. But as an old childhood friend suddenly moved into the same shared appartement, everything is bound to be set into motion once again for better or for worse.

When Emilio made a binding with a demon at 8 years old to help him escape his abusive father, he also put an expiration date on his own life... and that date is coming soon. On a night he wishes he could take back, he saves a Ground-Dweller from an attack by an Airborne gang and finds himself getting pulled into a situation he’s been trying to avoid - making friends... and finding love.

Kikyo Evans, an up-and-coming treasure hunter, with an extreme love for ancient demon culture, however little evidence of its existence there may be, stumbles upon a cave after following a lead. Upon ignoring a foreboding sign and plunging head-on into the dark, she meets a..! Drop-kicked, (literally,) straight into the world of her life-long dream, (or at least close enough,) she comes face to face with the ancient artefact she'd been searching for for 5 years.
