The first installment, The Crossroads: Midwinter Mystery, is a story that focuses on Amethyst, a witchy outcast whose brother disappears mysteriously on Midwinter’s Eve. As she searches for answers, she becomes reluctant friends with two queer boys, Mali and Eli, who may or may not be in a relationship, depending on who you ask. Under the eye of their church-assigned mentor, they unearth clues that lead to more questions than answers about the dusty southern gothic town of Bauxton. The Crossroads is a webcomic and graphic novel series covering topics like growing up bi-racial, discovering yourself, finding your place in your community, and finding the role that religion plays in your life. The Crossroads is written by Shane M. Young and illustrated by Jonah Leahy. The series is currently still in production and will be released in the near future. Can't wait?
