What would happen if one soul would be able to cope with the expanding plethora of a universe? To fathom the deepest, darkest catacombs of a twisted, wicked world? The answer is in this warped tale that embodies the sheer definition of defiance, perseverance, and imperfect perfection.

WART is loosely inspired by the work of HP Lovecraft and tells the story of a luckless man named Wart Bellamy. His peaceful life is destroyed by a gigantic monster that drags him screaming into a frozen lake. When he wakes he's elsewhere, another dimension, and quickly finds himself thrown into an asylum for the untreatable insane. Spanning several bizarre realms, Wart's story has him face off against beasts the size of skyscrapers, evil doctors with deadly secrets, a mysterious red-robed cult, and an inquisitive rat. Wart is written by Chris Welsh and drawn by Ammar Al-Chalabi. Although we both life in different countries and met via Reddit.com we have a very organic working process and lots of great ideas for Wart!
