The Diamond Spinel AU comic is an alternative story, which takes place after Steven Universe the Movie and during the time of Steven Universe Future. Everything seemed great when Spinel first arrived at her new home, the Diamonds spoil her rotten and Spinel lived happily ever after with the Diamonds...or so Spinel wants to believe she is. It’s as if the Diamonds went back to their old and terrible habits, treating Spinel just like they had treated Pink. Spinel will have the choice to either give in and be exactly what the Diamonds want, or risk everything to be who she wants to be.
