Bus Line 6

(Read right to left) Have you ever heard of the Divine Comedy? It's been written in Italy, during medieval times. It details the journey of a soul in the afterlife - with demonic figures working every day in Hell to guarantee its functioning. Spoiler: They're still working.

The Inferno of Dante- Remastered

Short comic based on the first canto of 'Dante's Inferno' Note; some things are changed, ex: Dante was about 35 when he wrote this but is drawn as a young adult for 'modernization' purposes. Class Explanation: For my Inferno project, I chose to make a short comic inspired by the first canto of the poem. It is supposed to be a ‘modernization’ of the poem, explaining the root beer reference and Dante’s collared shirt (though Virgil still wears a toga). The purpose of this was really just to explain the message or intent behind the story; Virgil was sent to Dante for the purpose of leading him through Hell, conditioning him to sin, and getting him on the ‘’right path.’
