Suffering from insomnia, Young, depressed, Dr. Aric Bleak, is a world-famous animal rescuer and investigator living in New York City. Seen by some as an animal-saving superhero but seen by others as a pesky vigilante punishing “alleged” animal abusers. In order to escape the place where they lost something, Aryn and her mom moved to Denver, colorado. But not long after they moved in, Aryn finds herself witnessing her gym teacher being stabbed to death through the window of the house nextdoor where a young blind man lives. Instead of going to the police she decides to do the investigation herself. Aryn is now plotting to reveal the devil before he figures out what she's up to.
